What You Need To Know & The Technical Bits!
A maximum of 16 amps or 3600 watts of heating can be connected to the thermostat. Larger loads/bigger areas may require additional switching and/or a relay to be installed.
Alternatively, additional thermostats can be installed, with the heating split into zones.
Your underfloor heating thermostat should always be powered from a dedicated supply from the main board, with suitable electrical protection (RCD or Spur switches) installed by your electrician.
